Perform technical calculations (basic strength/FEA, tolerance stack-up, material selection) to implement ideas from the industrial design team and superiors, ensuring shape, structure, and durability. Create 3D models, technical drawings, and assembly process drawings using CATIA or NX. Design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA) with suppliers; work directly with suppliers and related teams. Manage design changes (ECN/ECR), update BOM. Support sample team, build evaluation documents; coordinate with the testing team to plan inspections and resolve errors from test results. Support the production launch and mass production phase; analyze root causes and solve arising problems (8D). Meet product cost and volume targets.
