About Haven Headache & Migraine Center: Online migraine clinic

Haven https://havenheadache.com/ is building the future of migraine care for the 40 million Americans who suffer from this debilitating neurological condition. Backed by Runa Capital, Precursor Ventures, and 1843 Capital, we're transforming how migraine is treated through an innovative combination of telemedicine, AI-enabled monitoring, and personalized care plans. Our early results are exceptional - our initial patient cohort is seeing a 70% improvement rate with days impacted by headache reduced by half.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS FOR

Strategy at Haven is owned by our founding team. We are a design-first company in our DNA. What we need is someone who owns execution and serves as the connective tissue among disciplines, decisions, and delivery. When a product is being built, this person knows where it stands. When a requirement changes mid-sprint, they catch it. As a launch approaches, they make sure every team is ready, handling everything from change management to training. This person defines alongside design what “done” looks like for every feature, sets clear acceptance criteria, and documents edge cases.

In this role, you will be a vital product catalyst and execution partner. Rather than focusing on roadmap definition, you will empower the team by owning the delivery process, leveraging AI aggressively to amplify your impact and ensure we move with incredible speed and precision.

We are also at a stage where things move fast, and context is distributed. The person in this role becomes the source of truth: for requirements, for decisions, for what was agreed and what still needs to happen.

WHAT WILL YOU OWN

This is a senior IC role. You will:

Requirements gathering and Business logic: You work with design, engineering, clinical, and operations stakeholders to gather requirements and business logic before work begins. In the world of AI coding, you will ensure we have strong documentation of these inputs. You define alongside design what “done” looks like for every feature, set clear acceptance criteria, document edge cases, and get sign-off from the right people. Nothing moves to build without it.

Technical and operational documentation: You write and maintain the documentation that keeps teams aligned. That includes feature specs, process documentation for clinical and ops rollouts, and reference materials for training. You own the documentation lifecycle, not just the first draft.

Launch management: You drive feature launches from testing through release. You coordinate across design, engineering, clinical operations, and training to make sure each launch has clear owners, timelines, and acceptance criteria. You work directly with trainers to ensure clinical and ops staff are prepared before anything goes live.

Measuring post-launch impact and internal user feedback: You own the systems that measure how features perform after they go live. You manage post-launch A/B testing and performance tracking across clinicians, operations staff, and patients. You collect and synthesize internal feedback to identify where the product is meeting goals and where it is falling short, ensuring that data-driven insights directly inform the next iteration of the roadmap.

Decision tracking and roadmap orchestration: You capture what was decided, by whom, and why. You translate those decisions into tickets with clear requirements and acceptance criteria. You track requirements across the full lifecycle, including the ones that surface mid-sprint , and you flag gaps before they create problems downstream.

AI-powered execution: You use AI tools daily to accelerate your own work, writing requirements documentation, synthesizing meeting notes, surfacing action items, drafting release notes, and automating your work. You are not waiting for someone to build a system around you. You build it yourself using the tools available.

What we are looking for

Required:

- Experience working in or alongside design and engineering teams. You understand how software gets built.

- Demonstrated AI fluency: You already use AI tools daily to write faster, research better, and automate parts of your and team's workflows. We will ask you to show us how.

- Strong written communication: Clear, direct, and precise.

- Experience writing requirements documentation and defining acceptance criteria.

- Proficiency with project and task management tools such as Linear, Jira, or Asana.

- The ability to create structure where there is none. You are not waiting for someone to hand you a system.

- Experience shipping products for operations or clinical teams as a key user.

- Have worked on small teams responsible for shipping outsized outcomes.

- Background in health tech, digital health, or clinical operations.

Preferred:

- Experience in a startup or early-stage company.

- Background in product management, program management, product operations, or a related discipline.
